Venue Cloakroom
Terms of use

These Terms of use ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the cloakroom ticket software and related web services (the "Software") provided by JM Band ApS ("JM Band", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

1. Ownership

The Software is the property of JM Band and/or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software for your internal business operations, subject to these Terms.

2. Tags required

The Software is designed to work with compatible cloakroom tags sold by JM Band. To use the Software in normal operations, you must purchase the tags from JM Band. We may offer limited demo functionality for evaluation.

3. Fees and changes

JM Band may introduce fees, subscriptions, usage limits, or new service tiers in the future. If fees are introduced, we will provide notice and explain the updated terms before they take effect for your account.

3A. Features, plans and activation codes

Some features may be enabled or disabled globally or per tenant (for example during rollouts, testing or maintenance). In the future, JM Band may offer paid plans or add-ons that can be activated using codes purchased through our Shopify store. Codes are personal to the tenant and may be revoked manually if a subscription is cancelled or a code is misused.

3B. Optional online payments (Stripe)

If your tenant enables online payment, payments may be processed via Stripe. JM Band does not store full payment card details. Payment availability can vary by country, currency, and service configuration. Online payments are an optional paid functionality (not part of the free system) and may involve platform fees and/or Stripe fees as described in the Stripe Connect agreement you accept when you connect.

4. Availability and uptime

We strive to keep the Software available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free performance. The Software may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5. Limitation of liability

JM Band is not responsible for any loss of revenue, lost profits, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages. JM Band is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged guest items. You are responsible for your own cloakroom procedures, staffing, and training.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the Software.
  • Do not attempt to access data belonging to other tenants or any non-public endpoints.
  • Do not use the Software to store sensitive personal data beyond what is required for cloakroom verification.
  • You must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Privacy

The Software is designed to minimize personal data. Phone numbers are used for verification and are not stored in plain text. They are cleared after completed pickup. Analytics are aggregated and anonymised.

8. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Danish legislation. Any legal issues will be handled by the courts of Aarhus, Denmark.
